Flexibility and
high performance
BROWAN BW2250 is built to be a high-performance and
feature-rich outdoor Access Point. BW2250 offers flexibility
for deploying enterprise-scale wireless networks including
warehouses, universities, airports, hospitals, and
large corporations.
- Simultaneously supports 802.11a
and 802.11b/g standard.
- Mix of AP and Bridge configuration
works simultaneously, blanketing last miles with
high-speed throughput.
- Dual AP configuration for both
802.11b/g and 802.11a users in a high client density
environment.
- Dual Bridge (repeater) configuration
to extend the transmission range of wireless local
bridge.
Secure and reliable
wireless networking
BW2250 supports several encryption methods to make
wireless connection secure:
- Supports VLAN, up to 16 VLAN ID
per Radio
- IEEE 802.1x/EAP with password,
certificates and SIM card
- 64bits/128bits static and dynamic
WEP encryption
- Layer 2 Isolation for preventing
snooping on the same BSS
- MAC address filtering (ACL) for
preventing illegal attack
- Hidden SSID broadcast to prevent
illegal connection
Strong Anti-interference
Dynamic Channel Allocation (DCA) solution automatically
selects optimal operational frequency channel during
power up. BW2250 periodically monitors the environment
and adjusts for best operational channel. DCA enhances
BW2250 performance and provides continuous coverage
in highly dense wireless AP environment.
Multiple BSSID
"Virtual AP" Technology
BW2250 supports up to16 BSSID per radio and each BSSID
can be configured independently to support various
security policies, authentication model, RADIUS servers
and VLAN IDs. Each BSSID can also be set with different
priority based on 802.1p tag or 802.11e EDCA which
enables WLAN client device to access wireless with
QoS capabilities.
Quick Installation
and Deployment
BW2250 equips in an aluminum-alloy frame-resistant
with waterproof design housing, and is able to operate
even under extreme weather conditions. An integrated
IEEE 802.3af Power-over-Ethernet port enables effortless
deployment in various environments. It also includes
a special Antenna Alignment Tool which can assist
long range wireless bridging installation to ensure
the optimal bridging performance.
Easy and Secure
Remote Management
BW2250 supports secure remote management through HTTPS,
CLISH and SNMP connections.
- Web-based user interface with HTTPS
request supplies secure remote management
- BROWAN NMS product supplies the
system management solution
- Remote software upgrading via HTTPS
- Detailed client and site survey
- Bridge/Client Diagnostic Tool:
to optimize the installation for wireless bridging
and monitoring operational status
