Indoor PicoNext Gateway Certified for EU RED Compliance (2014/53/EU)


    PicoNext Indoor Gateway Secures EU RED Certification

     

    Browan Communications is pleased to announce that the Indoor PicoNext Gateway has successfully completed the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU certification process, including compliance with the amended Directive (EU) 2022/2380. The certification was conducted in line with the Radio Equipment Directive Scheme RD_061 and formally approved by Kiwa Nederland B.V., the designated Notified Body 0063.

    This certification verifies that Indoor PicoNext Gateway complies with the essential requirements set out in Article 3 of the Directive, covering:

    ✅ User health and safety protections (Article 3.1a)

    ✅ Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) (Article 3.1b)

    ✅ Efficient use of the radio spectrum (Article 3.2)
